As high school sweethearts, Sarah and I thought that WE had history. But Su and Andy certainly have us beat! Their story goes all the way back to a nervous Andy telling Su “Hey… nice hair” on Wacky Hair Day in middle school. The four of us shared more than a few laughs (and cringes) as they retold some of their early days as acquaintance led to friendship, friendship led to dating, and eventually, dating to engagement. With more than a decade of history together, Su and Andy knew each other incredibly well!

 

It showed during our time together. The comfort with which they walked, posed, cuddled and camera-kissed in the middle of a somewhat crowded National Mall was honestly impressive. And in the transition moments between shots or on the way to new locations, these world travelers shared so many incredible stories of their adventures! From a semester in New Zealand to a proposal in Bali, we certainly had a touch of travel-envy by the time their session was over.

Wow, we seriously had SO much fun with you two last weekend! Even though you both are Pennsylvania natives, we know that Washington DC and the National Mall has obtained a special place in your hearts (especially you, Su). So we’re so glad we could capture your love story there! And thanks for being flexible with our many re-routes and last minute changes of plan. You said you wanted an adventure of a photoshoot, and we think you definitely got one!
