High-End Richmond Engagement Session at the Virginia State Capitol

Hayley and Lin met each other while working for the same home-building company. In their words, she sells the homes and he builds them. But after spending just a couple hours with them capturing their engagement session at the Virginia State Capitol in downtown Richmond, we have a feeling they’ve been building more than just homes together this last year or two! They’ve also been building… a relationship (okay that was cheesy, we know). But they’ve built their relationship upon shared interests and passions (like spending time boating on the James) and a healthy amount of teasing each other 😂
In all seriousness, we could tell after just a couple hours that Hayley and Lin have a good time together. Before we paused for an outfit-change about midway through the session, we had already been laughing and sharing stories with each other while we explored the Virginia State Capitol. And despite being a real man’s man (I mean, Lin literally builds houses for a living), Lin was such a good sport about taking photos, and we have a theory that he and Hayley are secretly models on the side. They were naturals in front of our cameras!

We had so much fun getting to know you two earlier this month, just before the world began shutting down. After hearing all about your vision for a Spring wedding next year, we hope that this outbreak doesn’t prevent those wonderful dreams from becoming a reality! We so loved the way you two looked at each other and played off each others’ energy. If we didn’t have a wedding the following morning, we SO would’ve taken you two up on that offer for drinks 😉 In retrospect, maybe we should have done it anyway – we might not have a drink at a bar for quite some time! Next time we’re in Richmond and the world is back to normal, we’re taking you up on that rain-check!
