Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.
As Emily and Chris began pulling their props out of their car, something inside me just welled with absolute joy. These two rolled up, not just with a prop or two, but with a multitude of prop options! There were three different floral bouquets, multiple blanket colors, and a cold bottle of champagne with glass flutes. Emily even had two of the same dress from Rent the Runway so she could get the perfect fit! Not only did these two come extremely prepared, they came with such a fun and willing attitude (despite accidentally leaving Emily’s phone at the hair and make-up studio). I would’ve been a mess, but Emily was the queen of their engagement session. We never would’ve known if she hadn’t told us!
Seeing how prepared Emily and Chris were for their engagement session, it should’ve come as no surprise that they have their day almost completely planned! Knowing that vendors are getting booked pretty quickly for 2021, Emily and Chris moved fast – as in, planning-an-entire-wedding-in-less-than-four-months fast! Emily mentioned that now that they have the planning completely done, her only regret is that they have to wait until next fall to tie the knot!
We know that you guys were so frustrated that the hair and makeup studio made you two run a little late, but you were so quick to pick up the poses that we had plenty of time to capture these beautiful images, even with your huge variety of props! It was so much fun to get to know you guys in person and just experience how you guys interact with each other. If the engagement session is any indicator of the wedding, which it almost always is, we know that there is a hugely fun day waiting for us all next September! We cannot wait!
