Romantic Sunset Engagement Session in Charlottesville, Virginia

Imagine this: You’ve been engaged to the love of your life for a little less than a year, and wedding planning has been going great. Now, with your wedding day barely two months away, you’re beginning to get really excited for the big day! Then, one day you open up your email to find that your wedding photographer hadn’t realized that he booked your wedding during the same week of his family vacation! AHH! Now you need a wedding photographer and have barely two months to find one!! Are you stressed yet? Well, don’t worry about it too much – Laura was a bridesmaid in her best friend Abi’s wedding this Fall, so she knew who to reach out to right away! Lo and behold, their wedding date matched perfectly with our last open weekend in June!
Needless to say, we were so excited when we first heard from Laura and Paul about their wedding day. Not only would she be our first HSP Bridesmaid to become an HSP Bride, but I had such a blast getting to know her in Abi’s getting ready room just a few months ago! We had even run into each other a few times around town since the wedding. It seems like we were always meant to be Laura and Paul’s wedding photographers 🙂

We’ve already had so much fun getting to know you two – between our meeting over coffee last month and your engagement session this past weekend, we’ve only gotten more and more excited for your wedding day this summer! You two were absolute pros during your session – standing as still as statues for incredible lengths of time as the wind blew around you and the sun set at your backs. For a few moments there, Hunter and I really forgot that we were at a public park in the middle of Charlottesville, and were transported to some Mediterranean countryside! We hope you have some time to cherish these photos – even with your wedding coming up so soon!
