Amanda and Victor got out of New York City just in time. These stylish and intelligent NYC professionals were perceptive enough to wonder — way back in early March — if this pandemic does hit our shores, perhaps living in the US’s most populated city might not be the best idea. So they packed their bags and retreated to Virginia — and just in time! NYC hospitals have been described as war zones in recent weeks, while Amanda and Victor have been safely working remotely and spending quality time with family! It also meant that they were back in Virginia, so we had the opportunity to capture their Spring engagement session at the Barn at Edgewood 😁

 

From the beginning, Amanda and Victor were so fun to be around. When Amanda pulled a bouquet out of her car – not of flowers but of colorful balloons – we knew we were in for a fun session! As we explored the Barn at Edgewood’s beautiful property and guided these two lovebirds through their session, we saw the sweet, gentle side of this couple come out. And we loved the diversity of backdrop we were able to use. We snuck down into the woods for a warm and intimate feel. They posed in front of the barn door to show off their bright and beautiful venue. And of course, plenty of images in the rolling hills, with the Blue Ridge Mountains clearly visible in the background. And when the sun finally peeked out from behind a thin layers of clouds… holy sunset, batman!

We’re so glad that you two are safe in the midst of this craziness, and that we finally got to meet in person! These images are just a preview of the 100+ that we’ll deliver later this month, and even that gallery is just a holdover for your wedding day this summer! We so hope that this pandemic blows over for many reasons, but one of them is so we can see you two again at the Barn this August!
