Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.
Each time we walked through the lobby for Casey and Rob’s museum wedding at Richmond’s Science Museum of Virginia, we felt their vision coming to life. From the flowing green and yellow florals, to the imagery of a cloud-filled blue sky projected on the marble walls and ceiling, the Science Museum was absolutely transformed! When Casey was handed her bouquet, one of her bridesmaids commented that it was perfect for her. She commented that it was delicate and whimsical, just like Casey! All of this elegant greenery stood in contrast to the SR-71 Blackbird supersonic jet that hung from the ceiling, a personal favorite of Rob’s!
While the space itself was stunning and unique, what truly stood out were the emotions of the day. At every point, Rob’s face absolutely glowed with love when he looked at Casey. And following their First Look, there was hardly a moment when they weren’t as close to each other as possible. Meanwhile, their museum wedding was truly an experience for their guests. Not only did they get to explore the hands-on exhibits during cocktail hour, but after the ceremony, the projection-mapping switched from a blue sky to a forest scene to an aura borealis! Yet throughout it all, Casey and Rob were the stars. Their first dance — filled with lifts flawlessly executed by professionally-trained dancer Casey — was a sight to see!
It was such an honor to capture your wedding day! We had an amazing time with you two and your families. We hope that these images take you back to the joy of your wedding each time you look at them!
With love,
Sarah and Hunter
