Christine and Adam are the kind of people that are just easy to be around. After only 90 minutes together this past Sunday during their engagement session at James Monroe Highland, we already felt like we were becoming good friends. We talked about everything from their jobs and taking time off, to their engagement party, and even though they’re Hokies and Hunter’s a Wahoo, we all managed to put that behind us during the session 😉

 

Throughout our time together, Christine and Adam witnessed our creativity in action as we pushed the boundaries in a few new and different ways. We tried out a couple new poses and even ventured to a new spot inside the vast Highland estate, which has basically become our “home field” recently (having shot there on a monthly basis since last Fall). Of course, we couldn’t miss hitting our go-to spots as well. But no matter the location or pose, there was nothing but smiles and laughter all around as the not-TOO-hot summer evening passed by more quickly than we thought possible!

We’re SO excited that you chose Hunter and I to walk alongside you as you walk this road towards marriage. Like many things, engagement is a journey, and one that goes more smoothly with friends by your side, especially friends who have been there 40 or 50 times before! Our only regret from this weekend is that we won’t see you for almost another year! Agh! Scratch that – now way. I’m sure we’ll hang out before then 🙂
