Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.

Carlin and Rob’s Silver Fox Lavender Farm wedding was an intimate celebration of the people and place they love most. They met at work in Philadelphia this past December. Now, less than nine months later, they were engaged and married. Nearly all of their guests had to travel, but bringing everyone to their home near Wintergreen was so important to them. The weekend gave their friends and families a chance to finally come together, and celebrate as one. Carlin’s morning was quiet and intimate with her mom, Sarah, and plenty of time to enjoy each moment. Her stunning dress featured a long train and an even longer cathedral veil. Throughout the day, she added white silk gloves and a dramatic cape at various points. Meanwhile, Rob got ready with his closest friends, who toasted his impending marriage as he put on his tux. It was a relaxed beginning to a very meaningful day.
Their ceremony took place beneath a tunnel of overhanging tree branches, giving the setting a little extra whimsy. They also built in cocktail hours both before and after the ceremony. It gave everyone more time to mingle, especially since so many guests were meeting for the first time. By the reception, Carlin and Rob seemed completely at ease. A country band played while guests caught up over cocktails and desserts. Rob traded his tux for black jeans and cowboy boots, a look that felt much more naturally him. Carlin followed with a garden-party-inspired dress covered in florals. The contrast was perfect for the two of them. Their wedding had plenty of beautiful details, but the most memorable part was simply watching them relax together. Surrounded by their favorite people, they finally had a chance to slow down and enjoy being married!
Your lavender farm wedding was such a beautiful reflection of the life you have built together. We loved that you brought everyone to the place you call home. Your wedding was intimate, thoughtful, and completely focused on bringing your people together. From the quiet morning to extra-long cocktail hour and your low key-reception, every part felt personal. We especially loved seeing your personalities come through as the day unfolded. Also, the gloves, cape, and cathedral veil were incredible! Thank you for trusting us to document such a special beginning to your marriage.
With love,
Sarah and Hunter
