It’s hard to loiter. As we waited for Connor to lead Treslyn to the specific spot at Carter Mountain Apple Orchard that we had chosen for their proposal, we tried so hard to look natural! After several minutes of trying way too hard to not play it cool, they finally walked down the specific row of apple trees. Connor got down on one knee, and pulled the ring box out of his sock! After a big “YES!” and a lot of hugs, we finally introduced ourselves. Treslyn seemed to have known in advance that this surprise proposal at Carter Mountain was coming. But she was surprised to see two photographers! She had apparently been asking Connor if he hired a guy or a girl photographer!

As we talked more, Treslyn told us something that really surprised us. She had a feeling the proposal was coming when Connor got his hair cut! She said it was definitely suspicious, and when they made plans to go to dinner for her birthday, she was ready! Since Treslyn’s mom is also a photographer, it was fun to work with someone who knew the tricks, like resting her smile between shots! And as athletes, they were up for all the different poses, seemingly competing with each other at times to be the best photography subject 😂
