Most guys aren’t that excited about taking engagement photos. Don’t get us wrong – they always come along for the session – but sometimes their excitement level is somewhere between holidays with the in-laws and dental surgery. Of course, we get it – a lot of guys have had less-than-great experiences with professional photography. Whether it was a maternal-enforced senior photo session or an inefficient wedding photographer who spent the entire cocktail hour taking wedding party photos – we’ve heard it all.

 

But earlier this week at Raven’s Roost Overlook, Justin was another story entirely. During he and Lisa’s engagement session, he was a really good sport. In fact, we feel confident proclaiming – dare we say – that he even had fun during their engagement session. Of course, when you get to dance around with someone as fun and energetic as Lisa, it would be hard not to have fun!

Being new to the Central Virginia area you guys definitely made a great choice with Raven’s Roost. Even though your wedding is several months and a few hundred miles away, we hope these photos will hold you over and get you all the more excited for the future that’s ahead of you!
