Tarot-Themed Wedding at The Market at Grelen

Emily started her wedding day at the Market at Grelen with a tarot reading. We learned later on that her bridesmaid who performed the reading for her had spent the night before the wedding agonizing about whether or not she should “forget” a few of the more ominous cards in order to ensure that Emily had a good reading on the morning of her wedding. But in the end, she shuffled a full and complete deck in Emily’s getting ready suite, knowing that the results of the reading would truly be up to fate. Everyone gathered around as the decks were shuffled, and the reading began…. Thankfully, Emily’s reading went super well – mind, body, and spirit! After the reading, she also told us which cards in the deck were bad omens, so we knew which ones not to include in the detail photos ????

But aside from the tarot reading in the bridal suite, the entire day had cool celestial vibes. And of course, Emily and Chris were SO stylish! Emily carried her theme through to her moon and stars hair pieces, and down to her stunning golden shoes. Meanwhile, Chris rocked a blue tuxedo, and plush velvet loafers! We will never forget the way the wind lifted Emily’s dress so beautifully as her and Chris cuddled and swayed through their portraits. Luck was definitely on their side this past weekend!

We had so much fun with you both! You two are so incredibly sweet, loving, and kind. And even though you’re apparently “famously late for everything”, you two were perfectly on time to walk into each other’s lives, and on your wedding day! We can’t wait to get to work on the rest of your wedding images, but we hope you’re enjoying married life in the meantime!
