Tearful Wedding at The Granary at Valley Pike

“It isn’t that I’m nervous or anxious; I don’t have any regrets or hesitations or anything. But I know that I’m about to do something that’s going to change… everything.” These were the words that Daniel said to Hunter as they walked to the spot where, moments later, he would get his first look at his bride, Shelby. I don’t know that any sentence has ever fully captured the essence of what a wedding day is as well as what Daniel said. Nor was Hunter prepared for such a profound observation! But that was Shelby and Daniel in a nutshell: genuine, eloquent, and sophisticated one moment, throwing down on the dancefloor to some Usher the next!

We know when our couples are going to absolutely crush being married, and Shelby and Daniel are one of those couples. Having walked through the portion of “in sickness and in health” before being married, they walked into marriage knowing that the love they have for each other is deep and true. They showed this love in the little ways on their wedding day, from Shelby surprising Daniel by walking down the aisle to the song he soloed in his acapella group, to Daniel’s constant exclamations of how beautiful Shelby looked!

It was such an honor to capture your wedding day! We loved hearing about the ways you guys have grown and supported each other over the years and we know that the future holds so much good for you both! You two have been together for a decade now, and it really shows in the way you know, love, and care for each other. We hope that our paths cross again before long!
