The midday sun passed behind a cloud at just the right moment at Sky Ridge Farm in Waynesboro. Anxiously, the crowd shifted in their seats as they expectantly awaited the moment that the bride would appear. As the music began to play, the groom stood with his back to his guests. He wanted his bride to be the first thing he saw once the ceremony began. Naomi and her father emerged from the side of the barn grinning from ear to ear. As they neared the arbor, Logan slowly turned to catch his first glimpse of his beautiful bride. Through his reaction — the tears streaming down his cheeks — everyone could see the love Logan had for his soon-to-be wife and his excitement for their life together.

 

From the moment we first met Naomi and Logan, Hunter and I knew that this wedding would be filled with the emotion and compassion that these two had for each other. Our excitement grew even more when we awoke on the day of the wedding to a 3 am text from a very excited bride-to-be! During the portrait hour after the ceremony, Hunter and I stole Naomi and Logan away for some extended time, and the portraits from our time together are shining with the love and excitement of a very special couple. These two were up for all of our posing ideas, and at times, as they gazed into each other’s eyes, they seemed to forget we were even there.

 

Naomi + Logan,

You two were an absolute joy to serve. Hunter and I immediately felt welcomed into your day the moment we arrived, and had so much fun getting to know you as we worked together! Logan’s comment to Naomi about me near the end of the portrait hour really summed up how I felt by the end of your wedding day: “What, are you two best friends now!?” As Hunter and I saw the love you two have for each other, we caught a glimpse of the love you have for God and for those around you, and we know that your relationship will continue to be a blessing to those around you. You guys rocked, and we will see you again soon!
