Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.
It was cold. Very, very cold. Six degrees above freezing, to be exact. But since this was our final engagement session of 2018, we were so excited that Vanessa and Kevin were brave enough to push through the wintery weather and venture up to Carter Mountain Apple Orchard! Plus, we had only met over video chat when they booked their Wedding Photography Experience with us, so we were all so excited to meet each other! Thankfully, a few cups of hot apple cider and warm donuts helped us fend off the cold!
As if the cold weather weren’t enough, Vanessa and Kevin are brave for another reason. In the last month or so, they had sold their house, moved from North Carolina back to the Charlottesville area and started new jobs, while at the same time planning their own wedding! Combine that with the additional stress that’s common to the holiday season, and it would be enough to overwhelm even the most organized person. But Kevin and Vanessa were in high spirits throughout their session, enjoying themselves and laughing at our goofy jokes from start to finish!
Thank you so much for braving the cold weather for your December engagement session! Kevin, Sarah and I knew that the four of us had really connected well when Vanessa joked that you had not been looking forward to the session (don’t worry, we know it isn’t personal), but you told us afterwards how much you had enjoyed yourself throughout! We’ll have to reconnect before your wedding next November, because 11 months is just too long to wait to see friends again!
With love,
Hunter + Sarah
