One of our favorite parts of our job is capturing the small moments — the loving glances, the quiet touches. And as we walked around for their wintery Waterperry engagement session, there were so many of these “small moments” to capture! Throughout our time together, Elena and Sifan were holding hands and stealing glances. We could see so clearly just how much they love each other. And while we always love the backdrop of Waterperry Gardens, the natural chemistry that they had with each other made it so easy to get creative! Whether this was an outpouring of love from their being reunited after Sifan rejoined Elena in Charlottesville from Chicago… or just out of excitement for their wedding day less than a week away, we loved watching them interact!

As we wandered the property, something we asked them about was their plans for after the wedding. Sifan had been working in Chicago, while Elena has been in Charlottesville working on her PhD. So we were really curious about what their plan was for after their wedding on Saturday. We were thrilled to hear that not only are they going to be in the same city, but they will be in the same city as us! I (Sarah) actually ran into Elena and Sidon while grocery shopping just three days later! 😂

We had such a great time with you both for your wintery Waterperry engagement session! Sometimes it can be as long as 18 months or a year before we see our couples again. So we’re thrilled to get to capture your wedding day just 6 days after your engagement session — and just two days from now! We will see you two very soon! 😎
