Hi, we're Hunter and Sarah, a husband-and-wife, luxury wedding photography team. We’re also educators, helping other photographers build profitable and sustainable photography businesses.

Celia and Matt’s Wool Factory wedding weekend began with an unexpected snowfall the day before, giving Charlottesville a quiet, wintry glow. But by the time their wedding day arrived, most of the snow had melted, leaving behind clear skies and crisp, chilly air. This was probably for the best! Traveling from Georgia, Celia and Matt welcomed nearly all their guests from out of town, most of whom were from further south. Yet despite the unexpected snowfall, they were so excited to share a place they truly love with their dear friends and family: Charlottesville. Throughout the day, Matt’s thoughtfulness stood out in the most genuine way. He carried Celia’s dress wherever they went, checked in on friends and family constantly, and even insisted on carrying Sarah’s camera bag at one point. His care for everyone around him set the tone for a day full of warmth and kindness.
One of the most memorable moments of their Wool Factory wedding happened during their first look inside the industrial space itself. Surrounded by exposed brick and soft winter light, Celia and Matt quietly read letters they had written to each other. They paused often, fighting back tears, before finally embracing. It was intimate, emotional, and deeply personal. The industrial textures of The Wool Factory paired beautifully with their floral design, which brought soft pinks and peonies into the space. Later in the day, Celia’s excitement shone as she prepared to marry at the UVA Chapel. As a UVA graduate, that location carried deep meaning to her, and added yet another heartfelt layer to their celebration.
Your wintery Wool Factory wedding was a beautiful reflection of who you are — thoughtful, intentional, and deeply generous with your love. Thank you for trusting us to capture such meaningful moments and for welcoming us into your day so fully! From your emotional first look to the way you cared for every guest, your wedding was filled with warmth, despite the winter chill. We hope these images always bring you back to those quiet moments, joyful laughter, and the love that surrounded you in Charlottesville!
With love,
Sarah and Hunter
